As we all know, the deadline for MRP to confirm the official line/resolution with regard to the resort was yesterday.

Due to this and following many calls and emails from worried Consumers, the TCA emailed a contact at MRP  in order to gain their official line/resolution. Unfortunately we have received no response.

Due to this and in light of the many calls received, the TCA can provide you with the below information;

Do you want to get out? this is your opportunity.

At this time, and from what we have heard from the hotel (silence), they have frustrated the contract that you hold with them. As such, you can no longer honour the terms and conditions of that contract meaning, you are unable to continue. As the contract is frustrated, you can use that to get out, but only if you want too.

If you are in a position whereby you wish to exit your contract and you would like to do it yourself or would like to use a TCA recommended service, please contact the TCA on the below details and we will assist you.

If you are not and you wish to stay on at MRP,  what may happen is that the trustee will sell the contracts to another party and you may be bound to the contract restricting yourself with regards to an exit and/or any possible compensation.

However, it is not impossible and due to this, If you want to stay with MRP and the resort is not taking bookings then stay in contact with the TCA and we will do our best to assist you at a later stage.
