Well he would say that wouldn’t he! Mind you, as a great believer in free speech and letting the people decide then Harry (Henry) Taylor ought to have an opinion and indeed express it, even if that opinion is believed by the TCA to be somewhat deluded.

The two threads are contained on Timeshare talk and are worth reading in full. Just credit is given to these contributors as they have held Harry Taylor to account, prodded and re probed into some of the MRL issue before and after the alleged “ground breaking” proclamation hit the world of Timeshare.

If you consider the logic, no one could attack (as Harry Taylor puts it) if the allegations were groundless. These alleged attacks come from many different minds and from many different organisations yet we are being asked to believe by Harry Taylor that everyone is wrong except him and the people who sponsor him (the industry). Why does the industry sponsor him? Well that is again quite logical they sponsor him so as to obtain a betterment and for their own organisations.

So Harry accepts at least they are half truths, so part of what we and other say is truthful as he admits it. The problem he fails to address is which parts are true and which parts he contest. Silence is not an effective tool to dispel the descent, so why does Harry Taylor not explain which half is untruthful? I am sure we would all love to know. Utter rubbish is not utter rubbish when at least half of the allegations are true.

Nice choice of words however what are you going to do? Your organisation make many claims and those claims are now being tested by many people and you are letting it happen, you are creating the situation by not giving open, frank ethical, candid and accountable answers to the 350,000 consumers you purport to represent.
For one, I will Debate with you and in full view of the Timeshare consumers. Now that would be a great platform for you to kill off every purported half truth, innuendo and utter rubbish statement you claim is being made against you? I am even sure I can get a venue!

John Hughes a representative from Shakespear’s (a firm of solicitors) on behalf of TATOC wrote to the TCA
He says:
“TATOC is an independent body
The TCA disagree
Which was established to protect the interests of timeshare owners
The TCA disagree
TATOC represents member controlled resorts
No you don’t the committees represent the member controlled resorts not TATOC
TATOC has a wider role as a body representing the interests of timeshare members generally.
The TCA say no such role was given to you and no such mandate has been granted by consumers.
To refresh TATOC memory
Let’s see what the TCA say and determine which is as TATOC claim utter rubbish
TCA says:-Are TATOC is not 25 years old?
To claim that is an untruth!
Should TATOC be celebrating that untruth?
TCA Says:-No they should not!
TATOC claim to represent 250,000 timeshare?
No they don’t they are not even members, the resorts are and those resorts pay the membership fees!
Many members of TATOC are “owner members?
The TCA SAYS:-no one knows, no names are published (to the TCA knowledge)!
Who sponsors TATOC?
The industry!
How many directors did they declare as running the TATOC enterprise?
2 who vote and in the event of a split vote Harry has his Chairmans vote which carryes the day
How many did they tell the consumer public?
A lot more that 2
Who controls the TATOC voting rights?
The TCA says:-Taylor and Chapman!
Do TATOC holds secret meeting with the RDO?
Yes they do!
Do TATOC promote and assist the consumer litigation action groups taken against, St Francis’ Marketing, GE Money, Club la Costa, RCI, MacDonalds, Silver Point?
No just a deafening Silence!
If TATOC exist to assist committees why is it the case that when those emergency meetings are convened TATOC are not in attendance?
TATOC offer no explanation!
Does Harry Taylor sue consumers?
Yes he most certainly does he does not even offer mediation!
When consumers get representation does Harry Taylor drop the action?
Yes he does!
