The consumer committee have now or are in the process of resigning for the committee, as they have exhausted every option with the deliberate and barking mad actions of MRL.
Plas Talgarth timeshare resort is set in acres of parkland at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park in Wales, just five miles from the beautiful beaches of Aberdyfi and Tywyn.
The resort nestles in the lovely valley of the River Dyfi, and has the welcoming atmosphere of a small village with its own cosy Welsh pub. These are the advertised puns from the advertising mean machine of MRL. Many bought, many did acquire timeshare rights and many believed the spin and splattered promises given to them in the charter, the promotional video and the contractual terms contained in the literature.
Many have all ready floundered due to mis-selling allegations and many have allegedly been sold a bad dream and/or a bad investment. With a shatter image and a busted brand the MRL machine continues down the bumpy and puddle infested road.
This final act brings together the 9 resorts. The entire stock of Consumer owned properties is now under attack from the cleaners and servants, from the rich and powerful MRL, who appear hell bent on the belief that you the Consumer will be in their subjection and pay what they say you will pay. They wish to impart on you a membership to a club you don’t want to join and lay at your door an ownership you never bought and all in the aid of sequestrating a nice profit for the greedy shareholders of MRL.

Indoors
Indoors there is an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool spa, sauna, steam room and solarium, snooker and table tennis or relax in the Health & Well Being Spa.
Outdoors
Outdoors there are tennis courts; children’s play area, a pitch-and-putt course, trim trail and an outdoor pool for the summer months.
And you the timeshare consumers own the lot. It’s yours and MRL are taking it off you. They will take your assets and give you a worthless membership to a high priced club, they will control the club and impart on you any changes to the new constitution they so choose. If the committee do not want the changes as they will create a further liability on the consumers then alas MRL can block it.
If they have said today that you are locked into the point’s contract “for only a few years” alas we have to inform you they can change the term and lock you in for longer, as they have the contractual power to do so. Most of all MRL who sold you your timeshare asset have arrive on your door step and are taking it off you and are charging you for the privilege. It’s no wonder they have declared a bumper profit year.
Loch Rannoch, under the present constitution and with tenacity boots loaded have thrust out the kicking and screaming MRL and took back their resort in a crushing yet poetical court victory. They did so as the consumers held firm, they banded together and they got what they wanted, what they own and what they deserved. They Property
