The first ever Timeshare Resort is about to begin construction in Cambodia with the aim of opening in 2018. The Scarlet project in Cambodia which is a luxury condo resort being built in Sihanoukville is now officially going to operate on a Timeshare basis as announced by CEO Andrew J. Ahn.

The resort will offer something new in Cambodia where clients can buy a Timeshare and either use it to return and visit the resort on a holiday basis or they will be offered to rent it back to the company who will then lease the weeks out to people wanting to stay at The Scarlet, this will mean that both the owner of the resort and unit owner would be sharing the profits for renting out the hotel room.

With a price tag of $10,000 for the privileged of owning a Timeshare unit here the 32 storey resort is aiming to be modelled to achieve a 5-star rating and all hotel rooms will be decorated with all modern furniture and amenities throughout. The resort will also include a coffee shop, sky bar, pool, gym and a business club. With the Sihanoukville area becoming a great destination for tourists to visit near the sea-side, this resort will be a great addition to the area with the hope that more construction will take place for more resorts and hotels to be built. Although the resort has not even started to be built yet they have said that sales for The Scarlet project will soon begin and hope to attract buyers from countries such as Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan.

As the government is making this area a priority for making this a special economic zone, private investors was very keen to invest in the condominium project as they see huge potential as this is the first to be built here.
