It has been reported by TATOC in the past week that there is a new fraudulent company calling timeshare owners without their expressive permission.  Generally known as cold calling, which is not allowed in the UK, but still acceptable in other countries in Europe.  This company is targeting timeshare owners, and several of TATOCs approved companies have made TATOC aware that their clients have been contacted by Allied Services.

One of these companies is Travel and Leisure, their clients are being contacted by Allied Services, and being told that Travel and Leisure has passed on their details to be called.  Travel and Leisure have denied these claims and have specifically warned their clients that they should be very cautious if they are to consider giving any more personal details or indeed bank or card details over to this company as they believe their actions to be fraudulent, along with not complying with the data sharing laws outlined in the data protection act 98.

On further investigation we have found out that this company has the website www.allied-services.net and email address is info@allied-services.net they do have a London address, and a London telephone number.  There is no registered company information on their website, which is a legal requirement in the UK, this just raises superstition from the start.

After checking out the registration of the website, it was only registered in March 2017, and their website states that they have been going since 2011.  A little bit odd!  Also the name under which it is registered is Philip Newcombe, and an address in Paris, France.

We at the TCA would like to warn any clients that this company may indeed be attempting to take money from you without actually providing you the service that you are paying for.  There are no justifications of this at the moment, however, there are many companies that have already been caught out doing exactly that, and we would like to share this information with as many owners as possible so that this does not occur.

If you have been contacted by Allied Services, it would be great to hear from you, please do not tie yourselves into their services until you have spoken with someone that can advise you.  Please call us on the number below, or drop us an email, we will endeavour to help you in any way we can.
