This month at the Timeshare Consumer Association, we have got some reviews from timeshare owners who either own their timeshare in Mexico or have used an exchange program and visited one of Mexico’s timeshare resorts.

The Royal Playa Del Carmen

Located on Mexico’s famous fifth Avenue, the Royal Playa Del Carmen is a four diamond resort. The luxurious suites all come with private balconies or terraces as well as whirlpool tubs. You even have the option to stay in a swim-up suite or having a suite with a beachfront walkout.

The Royal Playa Del Carmen is an adult only resort and boasts of seven gourmet restaurants, five bars and lounges, a tequileria & cigar club, a fitness centre, live entertainment and daily activities such as zumba and dance classes.

Timeshare Owner review “I have a Timeshare at The Royal, It’s my 4th visit. It’s beautiful, the staff are great, great location, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Couple of miles to Xcaret, Tulum and a 30 min boat ride to Cozumel. Awesome trip.”

Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa

Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa have some of the most sophisticated suites in all of Cabo San Lucas resorts. You can choose from one, two and three bedroom suites and even penthouses. Each suite has a HD flat screen television and Wi-Fi internet, some suites even allow you take your pets along with you.

Recent review from timeshare owner “We kept coming back to the pool since the food there was amazing and so were the drinks. Gustavo, our waiter, took care of us every single time. He knew what events and places to hit up, very knowledgeable guy and I would definitely be coming back in March for ,my birthday, hope he’s still there. Housekeeping was amazing, they kept our room so clean, it was unbelievable.”

Melia Cozumel Golf

Surrounded by Mayan treasures, white sands and turquoise waters, Melia Cozumel golf is truly idyllic. This resort is in the perfect location, close by to some of the world’s best diving spots and a high chance of swimming with dolphins.

Melia Cozumel Golf offer various accommodations – from rooms with either ocean or garden views, to junior and premium suites and even royal suites.

Owner review “We have been timeshare owners at the Melia Cozumel for many years. We not go on the all inclusive plan but have eaten at the main dining room on site and found it to be good. The beach is great for sunning, There are various free activities, and the water is good for swimming. We enjoy being north of the main town and this direction is less crowded with hotels and, hence, tourists.”

These are just a few of the timeshare resorts on offer in Mexico, so even if these aren’t what you are looking for there are many more to look in to.
